SP429 pressure regulating valve is a spring-driven micro-pressure regulating valve and can reduce and stabilize high-pressure gas to the extreme low pressure. It is only used for after-valve control. It is also used for micro-pressure control of different gases, especially micro-pressure nitrogen sealing system. The minimum control pressure is 0.2Kpa. The maximum control pressure is 15Kpa. The minimum operation temperature is -48¡æ. The maximum operation temperature is 120¡æ.

¡øCompact structure--- the embedded spring structure makes the pressure regulating valve more compact and well protected.
¡øNo filling ---- under micro-pressure control, any friction resistance will affect the control precision of the pressure regulating valve. SP429 pressure regulating valve without filling material makes the whole pressure regulating valve structure highly sensitive and reduces leakage point.
¡øAmplify push---- the control pressure is very low of the micro-pressure control valve, so the executor generates limited push. The lever force amplification regulation device of the SP429 pressure regulating valve can amplify the micro push of the film component by 7 times, so this pressure regulating valve provides excellent regulation and pressure difference withstanding performance. When the downstream system flow reduces to “zero”, the valve core will cut off the flow under micro-pressure state and keep the system pressure.
¡øSecure over load--- to reduce the influence of the part gravity on the control pressure to most extent, the whole regulation device of the pressure regulating valve should be designed as small and precise as possible. The downstream pressure is very low during normal operation. The force on the regulation device is very small. The over load is unavoidable in actual operation. The downstream pressure can reach the before-valve pressure under abnormal state. At this time, the push generated by the film component is very destructive to the regulation device. The over load device of the SP429 pressure regulating valve can effectively remove the over load and avoid damage to the regulation device, namely when the pressure regulating valve is operating, in most cases, the film cavity of the executor can fully withstand the maximum operation pressure ahead of the valve without damage.
¡øEasy pressure regulation--- the screw regulation device can realize easy, convenient and quick pressure regulation.
¡øSoft sealing seal---- the valve core is designed as software sealing structure and can easily cut off the flow.

Remark: For pressure regulation precision, KV is used for computing and type selection. The maximum mass of the valve under failure state is considered as full open KV.

Remark :¡ñ The theoretical precision indicates the theoretical pressure deviation of the valve under 10-70% openness and constant pressure difference. It will be affected by the pressure difference change and flow in actual application. The actual theoretical deviation is computed by the process parameter.
The flow feature of the pressure regulating valve approaches to linearity prior to 70% openness.
The pressure regulating valve consists of executor component and pressure regulating valve component which are connected as a whole via the connection nut.
Structure, part list and part material

Operation principle

¡øThe medium flows into the valve and flows out via the flow regulation of valve core and valve base. The after-valve pressure is brought into the executor film cavity and generates push. Compared to the given spring push, when this push is more than the spring force, the film component will drive the valve core to reduce the openness. On the contrary, when the push is less than the spring force, the openness of the valve core will increase, namely the after-valve pressure reduces and the openness of the valve core increases. The after-valve pressure increases and the openness of the valve core till the push is equal to the spring force. At this time, the valve core will keep the openness of the after-valve pressure and mass. At this time, this pressure is the set pressure of the pressure regulating valve. When the before-valve pressure or after-valve mass changes and leads to change to the after-valve pressure, the old balance will be damaged. The film component will drive the valve core for regulation and compensation and restore the pressure. On the whole, regardless of operation condition, the after-valve pressure will be always controlled within certain scope. When the after-valve flow reduces to “0”, the after-valve pressure will gradually increase till it exceeds the spring force to close the valve core. The after-valve pressure is under keep state. The level regulation device of the pressure regulating valve will effectively amplify push. If the pressure is higher than set value, it will close the pressure regulating valve tightly.
The set pressure depends on the ratio of the spring force and valid film area. For each installed pressure regulating valve, the valid film area is fixed and the spring force is adjustable. To rotate the regulation screw, you can adjust the pressure and the pressure meter of the pressure regulating valve will display after-valve pressure.
The pressure regulating valve is designed with soft seal structure and lever force amplification device. The valve core can effectively cut off the flow under the micro-pressure state.

Install


¡øThe flow direction of the installed pressure regulating valve should be consistent with the arrow direction on the valve. The body of the pressure regulating valve should keep as level as possible. If necessary, other installation direction is taken. Although it affects operation performance, the pressure regulating valve is the micro-pressure control valve. The weight of the control component inside the valve changes the gravity direction and also leads to small deviation to old set pressure. The valve is installed horizontally for debugging, so the changed installation direction may correct the set pressure.
¡øShut-off valves should be installed either at the upstream and downstream of the regulator for inspection and maintenance. The by-pass valve should be installed for emergency in important applications.
¡øThe pressure gage or other pressure detection gage should be installed at the upstream or downstream of the regulator for pressure adjustment.
¡øThe pressure regulating valve can include a pressure meter. This pressure meter displays the after-valve control pressure.
¡øThe pressure regulating valve collects the pressure outside the valve. The tube should be installed with the pressure guide tube. The pressure guide tube should be installed with the ball valve or cut-off valve. The 10DN straight tube should be installed after the valve. The pressure collection point should be located at 6DN. If the diameter expansion tube is behind the valve, refer to the diameter of the expanded tube.
¡øFor the nitrogen storage tank, the pressure of the pressure regulating valve is collected at the top of the tank, so it can fully meet the mass requirement of the nitrogen seal via the output flow of the pressure regulating valve and keep the tank top micro positive pressure to the atmospheric pressure. Generally the storage tank is installed with the respiration valve and pressure regulating valve. The tank sucks the gas by adjusting the pressure during normal operation and discharge gas via the respiration valve. When the pressure regulating valve fails or the nitrogen breaks, the respiration valve can suck the gas to avoid the tank shrinkage.
¡øWhen the pressure regulating valve film is damaged, it will lead to medium leakage. If the medium leakage is forbidden at the field, the flow guide pipe can be installed on the executor of the pressure regulating valve to guide the flow to the secure area.
¡øWhen it is not convenient to regulate and watch the installed pressure regulating valve at the field or the pressure regulating valve collides with other devices, to loosen the connection screw, the executor can wholly rotate in 3600. When a proper installation position is identified, you should screw up it without need of disassembling the valve and making any adjustment.
¡øThe tube should have been cleaned or blown prior to installation of the pressure regulating valve. Particles and welding residues are not allowed.
¡øTo test the pipe pressure, you should disassemble the pressure regulating valve or close the ball valve or check valve on the pressure guide tube.
